Lenard & Lily.
we'd run away together to be wherever our adventure awaits!
♥ Love is
patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Couple Typology

So it has been about two weeks plus since we started our marriage preparation course (: we are very fortunate and ecstatic to have Hansel and Jean to mentor us in the course. Both of them are from our cell group and it is just so encouraging to witness their God-centered and loving marriage. And it is just great that they do know us as a couple for quite a period of time, which makes our sessions and sharing much more open as we are already familiar with each other. This has been so exciting for Lenard  and I and we are sure that there will be so much we can learn from them (: so thank you, Hansel and Jean, for taking out your precious time to do this with us and to little Ewan who has been a good boy and sleeping tight during our past two sessions!

Here are the results of our long awaited Couple's Report!!! We are a Vitalized couple!(: That means that we have a strong relationship, skilled in communication and conflict resolution. Can you believe that? I've never thought i'm good at communication. But I am encouraged to hear that I am. The highlights of the report? There was a personal stress profile done and my stress level is at 70/100 and lily's is at 10/100. Hahaha. That explains why LILY IS ALWAYS SO HAPPY AND ENERGETIC. Anyway, guess what are our stressors? Mine are:

1. Cost of wedding
2. Dealing with the wedding party
3. Dealing with my parents
4. Decisions about wedding details
5. Eating too much or too little
6. Feeling overwhelmed by wedding details
7. Financial concerns
8. Lack of exercise
9. Lack of time for friends
10. Opinions from friends or relatives

Lily's are...is:
1. Emotionally upset/emotional issues

Jean and Hansel say that it is very important for the couple to know each other's stressors. We need to always share our Significant Emotional Events (SEE). If we SEE each other's troubles, we can better support each other and also be more sensitive to each other's moods.

We are very encouraged that we aced the Couple's Report! Definitely coming out of the Marriage Preparation Course as a stronger couple!(: Woohooo!!
