♥ Love is
patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

House viewing at Moh Guan Terrace

This is probably the 4th week into our home-hunting (: so far, we have visited house at Jurong East, Toh Guan, Clementi, Holland Village and Tiong Bahru. Nothing has really spoken to us yet but one particular area has really caught our eyes and gave us some tingles of excitement!

Moh Guan Terrace is really a surprising find. Being part of the Tiong Bahru Post-War houses, it exudes an olden-day charm that makes it stand out from other HDB flats. This part of Tiong Bahru is just so beautiful and charming, with the juxtaposition of the 70's houses with new life seen in the eateries and shops. Being a flat built in 1973, it does not have any lifts and from the conservation efforts the government has put in over there, lifts do not seem to be part of any upgrading plan for the flats in this part of Tiong Bahru. But in fact, it is how everything is preserved in its original rustic beauty there that made us super hyped to go for this house-viewing. Here are some pictures:

Lenard and his dad engrossed in the agent's elaboration of the house.

Dining area. Notice the sparkling crystal chandeliers?
A very cosy kitchen.
Master bedroom.
A study room.
Frontal view of the study.
I'm sure Botero has given you a clue to what this is. (Yes, one brownie point for you if you say washroom!)

We realise we have stumbled into an estate which we really see ourselves in. I still believe there is a lot for us to discover about this estate and so we have decided to spend the next six months finding out more about the place and also to find ourselves an apartment we can call home. We have taken a few pictures of the apartment we have viewed. It is really very nice and cosy. Planning to explore the estate more in the day and late at night as well, probably with lots of eating in mind because the food there is heavenly! More pictures to come about the things we like about the estate!(:
