(Charis + Dominic)'s Wedding Banquet.

Congratulations to Charis and Dominic! (: We had the honour of celebrating their joy with them at Shangri-la Hotel on Saturday and it was a beautiful wedding. With its high ceiling and crystal chandeliers, Shangri-la's ballroom was a picture of grandeur and perfection. Charis, Lenard's friend from university, was stunning in both her white ball gown and a rich purple, cheongsum-inspired evening gown. Although it was the first time that I had seen the couple, I think anyone who was there would feel really excited and exhilarated to watch them walk down the banquet hall as husband and wife. They are just such a cute couple! And I could not help but smile when Dominic said after his speech, "Now, I will pass the mic to my wife". It is so subtle yet undeniably loving. From the number of "awws..." that were let slipped after that line, I am sure I was not the only one who felt like a piece of molten chocolate lava cake at that moment.

Other than the good food (really filled, burps!) and great ambience, the bride and groom had gotten professional photographers who provided guests with memories of that night at lightning speed. One moment you are posing for the camera, and the next, your photograph is on the screens and before you can say, "That's us!" the photographs are on their way to you. That was really quite a treat for the guests (: Some pictures from that night:
