patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Happy Mother's Day and...

we have some exciting news to share: I am going to be a mommy (: we are about a little more than 8 weeks away from welcoming a new addition to our world: Baby Paul Chew!

God has been so amazing and it is still surreal that by the time Lenardily celebrates our 1st anniversary in September, we will have our baby boy to celebrate with us too! Currently, we are approaching Week 32 (Full term is considered to be 40 weeks) and we promise the blog is going to be more active as we share about how the pregnancy has been so far, what we have been doing to prepare for baby Paul and of course, to count down to the day he arrives. So stay tuned!

One thing that we have been trying our best to keep up with is actually the taking of weekly photographs to witness Baby Paul's growth a.k.a my bump's growth. I shall not bore you with the almost 20 photos we have taken so far but here are the photographs of the beginning (Week 8), mid-point (Week 20) and till now (Week 31):

In case you are wondering why the "After food: 50kg" caption only appears in Week 31's shot, well we realise that Baby Paul seems to be growing rather exponentially from about 5 weeks ago. Hence, we decided to start charting the increase in my weight as well (: and yes, the hair seems to be getting shorter. Not because I am preparing for labour and motherhood, in fact, I had let Lenard and hairdresser, Esther call the shots. And this is the result, ta-da!

Ending off this post with a verse on God's creation of mothers (:

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things but you surpass them all."

Proverbs 31:25-29
Happy Mother's Day once more to my 2 beloved mummies and also all mothers and mothers-to-be (: I hope I can be the sort of mummy that God has designed me to be. Shall share more soon. No Monday blues tomorrow since Tuesday is a holiday so, enjoy the upcoming week, all!

P.S You can follow me on instagram @lillychews to get some photo updates here and there too. Cheers!
